Our story begins on Howell Mountain, where the original
vineyard was planted in the 1800s. The red and white
soils of the terroir inspired the name Liparita, meaning
'Little Lipari', because the region is reminiscent of
the landscape of Sicily's Lipari Islands.
Now, over 100 years later, Liparita's wines are still
created using fruit from some of the most unique and
distinct regions of the Napa Valley. The roots of the
original inspiration continue to endure, despite the
new face of the brand. |
